Digital cameras have a lot of settings. This workshop helps you learn how to set them for different subjects and situations.
In the morning I will cover manual settings and how to take full control of the camera focus ing, shooting in a variety of creative modes (A,S & P) to get the best results quickly. We will go over white balance, exposure compensation, how to blur the background in a photo or get more in focus and things like freezing the action and shooting in lower light. You do not need an expensive camera to take part in this class, even a compact camera with some creative or manual modes will be sufficient.
In the afternoon you will work on your images, how to import and make adjustments using GIMP.
This workshop is perfect for people who are new to digital photography, first time digital camera owners, family snappers looking to improve their shots, people who need to use a camera as part of their job, or people who are just refreshing their camera knowledge.
